Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
My absolute favorite manga and anime. Engaging, well-paced, great action, and so many emotions. It's impossible not to love the Elric brothers and root for them on their journey to restore their bodies. I love the creative premise and world building, as well as the underlying themes of human mortality. Also, a great ending which is rare. The characters embodying the seven deadly sins of humanity are truly tragic and beautifully written. There is more, but you'll have to see for yourself.
Jujutsu Kaisen
My favorite new gen anime, and when I finished season 1 I flew through the manga. One thing about JJK is that it is just an exciting story. Filled with constant action, it never sacrifices character moments or storytelling. Filled with truly ruthless and gritty action, Gege Akutami's art is what I love so much. Rough, raw, and dynamic, Gege flawlessly illustrates motion and emotion in his fight sequences, better than almost any I have seen. Gojo is a favorite of mine, can't wait for more JJK!
One Punch-Man
A seemingly idiotic premise, but an amazing story. I absolutely love One Punch Man for it's comedic value, as it is the funniest Anime and Manga I've read and watched. But aside from being light-hearted and funny, One Punch Man delves deep into it's characters, and analyzes what it means to truly be a hero. The art is top tier, and I recommend looking up the story of ONE and Yusuke Murata! It's a cool one. The fights are spectacular as well!
